Anyone going to the Ploughing Championships this week is being advised to bring their wellies and rain coat, after heavy downpours at the weekend and with showers forecast for today. The three-day event, which takes place in Ratheniska, Co Laois from today, has crowds of up to 300,000 expected throughout its three days.
