Cork City FC are delighted to announce that Fiacre Kelleher will join the club on July 1st on a long-term contract. The 29-year-old central defender has spent the last three seasons at Colchester United, making over 60 appearances, and he told CorkCityFC.ie that he was delighted to be back on Leeside with the Rebel Army: “It’s been a few weeks in the pipeline, so it’s nice to get something sorted, and it’s something to look forward to come the first of July! “I’ve known Ger since I was first on trial in Ipswich years ago, so the minute he phoned me and we had a conversation, I was really excited and keen to get something done.” The Blackrock native began his career with Avondale United, before signing for Celtic in 2012.
