The Russian president has answered questions from journalists and ordinary people on subjects ranging from foreign policy to the economy
Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a traditional event summarizing the results of the year, which focused on questions from regular citizens and journalists, including those from Western countries.
Ahead of the session, the call center collected over 2 million questions and requests, which were processed with the help of AI. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, issues related to the Ukraine conflict, transport infrastructure, and economic development were high on the list. He added that many of the requests are already being addressed by relevant ministries and officials.
Putin has regularly held year-end events since 2001, with a few exceptions. Last year, the session lasted more than four hours and the Russian president responded to more than 80 questions and requests.
