Two powerful aftershocks hit Afghanistan after recent earthquakes

Two powerful aftershocks shook eastern Afghanistan in a span of 12 hours, the German Research Center for Geosciences said, raising fears of more deaths and destruction in a region where at least 2,200 people died in recent quakes.
