A hungry elephant caused havoc in a grocery store in Thailand when he strolled in and helped himself to produce on the shelves. The shopkeeper said the elephant, known as Plai Biang Lek from the nearby Khao Yai National Park, ate nine bags of sweet rice crackers, a sandwich and some bananas worth about $25.
