Cork City FC has announced the appointment of Gerard Nash as the club’s new Men’s First Team Manager. The 38-year-old joins City following a spell as Assistant Manager of GAIS in Sweden. Prior to his move to Sweden, Nash held a number of coaching roles at Ipswich Town before working with the FAI and Aston Villa. Gerard Nash said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be appointed as the new Men’s First Team Manager at Cork City FC. Everyone in Ireland knows the history that the club has, its fantastic support base, and the potential within the existing players. I have watched a lot of the league this season from afar, and I have no doubt that there is so much more we can deliver.” Nash added; “Everyone in the league knows that Cork City are one of the biggest clubs
