The incident occurred just hours after the New Orleans terrorist attack and Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas
Ten people have been shot outside a music venue in Queens, New York, after several men opened fire on a group waiting to enter, local police have reported.
The incident occurred around 11:18 pm local time on Wednesday. The victims, aged 16 to 20, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Police reported that approximately 30 shots were fired, and the male suspects fled the scene on foot before escaping in a sedan with out-of-state plates. The authorities are investigating potential gang involvement, and have said the shooting was not a terrorist attack.

Earlier on Wednesday, the US witnessed two significant incidents – a terrorist attack in New Orleans and an explosion involving a Tesla Cybertruck outside a Trump commercial property in Las Vegas.

In the early hours of New Year’s Day, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old US Army veteran from Texas, drove a rented Ford F-150 Lightning pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The attack resulted in 15 fatalities and injured over 35. After crashing, Jabbar exited the vehicle and engaged in a firefight with police, during which he was fatally shot. An Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) flag was found in his truck, and explosives were discovered at the scene, leading the FBI to investigate the incident as an act of terrorism.

Later, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. The vehicle, rented in Colorado via the Turo app, was found to contain firework mortars and gas canisters, suggesting the explosion was intentional. The driver was killed, and seven others sustained minor injuries. The authorities are investigating the incident as a potential act of terrorism and are exploring possible connections to the New Orleans attack, given the similarities in the rental methods and timing.
