As a family who see 40pc of our income disappear out the door on rent, it seems shocking to me that in the middle of a cost- of-living crisis landlords might get a dig out in Budget 2024. Nothing about our housing market makes sense, but reports that the Government is considering doling out tax credits to small landlords to prevent them bailing out really galls me.
