Q: My boyfriend is a massive flirt and, while I used to like it, I don’t feel so great about it now. He flirts with everyone and now he’s started liking other girls’ pictures on Instagram and leaving flirty comments. I kept quiet for ages but now that college is starting again, he is interacting with more girls again. It makes me feel insecure and I worry he is also sending DMs to people. I’ve tried speaking to him about this, but he brushes it off and says it’s just a laugh, and that it’s not like he’s hooking up with them. Sometimes he flirts with other girls in front of me, and it makes me feel really insecure. Some of my friends tell me to break up with him but, when he’s not doing this, things are good. I like him otherwise, it’s just this part I don’t like. How do I get him to stop flirting?
